Republicans are planning to target the newly created federal tax credits for electric vehicle purchases worth $7,500 if they gain control of the White House, Bloomberg reports.

I wonder if the Republicans realize these federal tax credits are responsible for the boom in EV manufacturing and related industries, like batteries, in red states.
