Carbon tax.

A bipartisan bill requiring a carbon intensity study of U.S. manufactured goods compared to foreign goods is drawing opposition from a key GOP senator and conservative groups, POLITICO Pro reports.

I find it interesting that the Competitive Enterprise Institute-led coalition claims the study is a prelude to taxing U.S. goods when the data really could be used to levy carbon taxes on exports.
