Vacationers are opting to travel to cooler, more temperate parts of Scandinavia, instead of popular — and hot — tourist sites like Greece and Italy, a trend called "coolcationing," Bloomberg reports.

This story feels timely and poignant here in the U.S., too. This 4th of July week is a popular time for vacations. And much of the U.S. has been experiencing dangerously hot temperatures.
