COP28 showdown.

The COP28 negotiations are at loggerheads over the reduction of fossil fuel use with less than a day until its scheduled close, Bloomberg reports.

The head of this COP — a UAE COP28 president who is also head of the country’s national oil company — seems to be pushing for a measured but historic call to reduce fossil fuels.
