Portugal's prime minister resigned this week after prosecutors kicked off an investigation into alleged corruption over the handling of lithium mining and hydrogen projects, Reuters reported.

One question popping up is how far the government was willing to go to do dirty deals for clean power, especially since Portugal's lithium reserves were marred in controversy from the start.
