Solar panel maker Qcells and nonprofit solar service provider Navajo Power Home are teaming up to supply 350 solar panels to those without electricity in the Navajo Nation, KOLD news channel reports.

It's unbelievable that 15,000 homes still lack power and many have to drive miles just to get ice to keep their food cold. The Energy Department is contributing $5 million toward the effort.
