Greening concrete.

U.S. Senators Christopher Coons (D-Del.) and Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) introduced legislation that would provide federal support for greater use of low-carbon concrete and asphalt.

With concrete making up 8% of global greenhouse gas emissions, this bill would pave the way for research and development of low carbon concrete with U.S. government support.
