Today the Biden administration announced the 7 regional hubs across the U.S. that will receive $7 billion to produce hydrogen, the NYT reports.

The clean hydrogen industry basically doesn’t exist today. A source in this story describes the hubs as “laboratories of sorts to experiment with potential business models.”
