Released during CERAWeek, the Oil and Gas Climate Initiative study finds the U.S., the largest producer, to be the world's largest emitter of natural gas, Financial Times reports.

The study identified natural gas leaks from venting and flaring of the gas from equipment, storage tanks and pipelines. I wonder why it required a global initiative to do routine maintenance.
