Narrowing EV credit.

Americans won't be able to receive the full $7,500 tax credit for purchasing an electric vehicle if any of its parts are made in China under new U.S. Treasury rules, The Washington Post reports.

Designed to curb Chinese dominance of the EV supply chain, the Treasury rules will allow just 22 out of more than 110 EV models available for purchase in the U.S. to qualify for the tax credit.
