Europe's solar panel manufacturing industry has urged the EU to step in with emergency measures to avoid local firms shutting down under price pressure from Chinese imports, Reuters reported.

Europe already has a pretty small solar panel manufacturing industry so this cry for help is even more concerning considering the bloc's plans to become a cleantech powerhouse.
