India, South Africa and other like-minded countries are planning to challenge EU's upcoming border carbon tax at the World Trade Organization meeting, Reuters reports.

As Cipher has reported, developing countries have objected to the border tax saying it is discriminatory, and designed to shut out countries struggling economically to make the energy transition.
