The Biden administration is seeking to expand tax credits beyond wind and solar energy to include half a dozen new clean sources including geothermal, hydropower, nuclear fusion and fission.

The tech-neutral tax credits created under the Inflation Reduction Act will replace the existing production and investment tax credits for traditional renewable energy sources.
