The long-term global outlook for electric vehicles (EVs) "remains bright" says BloombergNEF in a new report, but the slowdowns witnessed in some markets was a "real thing," Axios reports.

EV costs coupled with multiple nations' trade restrictions on cheap Chinese EVs are definitely tempering consumers' appetites. Could this be a case where policy isn't helping drive markets.
