Most countries have expressed intent to reach net-zero emissions by 2050, but few are making plans to actually get there, E&E News reports from new research on the matter.

Key stat: Out of the 195 countries that have ratified the Paris Climate Agreement, just 72 have submitted actual strategies to achieve the deal’s goals. Yikes.
