An EU wind energy group said a record year for building new wind farms and a rebound in investments have raised hopes the EU may achieve its clean energy targets, Reuters reported.

As with EVs, runaway optimism over wind energy faded last year amid challenges. Yet both industries are forging ahead steadily, if a bit less briskly than initially imagined.
